QUALITY PROCESSES
Quality through consistent business processes
Quality Means Everything To Us
FGA has worked hard to develop systems and processes that make us the premium steel fixing supplier.
We Use Systems to Achieve This
Part of our quality process is regular Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) procedures. We have found that regulated ITP visual checks by dedicated and trained team members has resulted in less defects and near 95% project efficiency outcome due to less delays prior to pours.
FGA Consistently Delivers on Time
The result of less defects has resulted in minimal delays to all pours when program really matters.
INNOVATION IN SAFETY THAT SETS US APART
Safety comes first
- We have an allocated safety manager onsite full-time on larger projects. On smaller projects site visits are 3-4 times per
week - Pre-starts are conducted every morning. FGA proactively cover high-risk activities on-site for that days work activities & how they can be avoided prior to commencing work
- Toolbox meetings once a week
- FGA conduct our own safety walks weekly by an allocated staff member attending site safety walks
- Hot Works Permits issued every Monday across all sites
- Tool safety testing & tagging / tool registers issued to the builder
- Our company is structured similar to a building company, ie. we have a general manager, project managers, project coordinators, safety
management staff & certified HSE, site foremen and quality personnel. - As the company structure is flat, management is able to observe project requirements early and provide extra support to teams as required.
- To lower change management risks, our team members are allocated to projects from beginning to end, this leads to better safety and quality outcomes
- Our workers are dedicated through FGA setting target achievement bonuses
- Office meetings are conducted monthly with all management staff to set new goals & targets creating a team environment and intrinsic
motivation for our team thus perform better - FGA’s company director is a hands on team member allowing for better feedback across teams and faster responses to project challenges
- Dedicated to meeting any program targets set by the principal contractor
- Site employee hours are 7am- 5pm with additional resources available to cater to high demands and project acceleration requirements
